Hi all, hope someone here can shed some light on my problem I recently set up a new system for my wife the specs are AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor 1Gb DDR 400 memory Nvidea GeForce 7300 GS 512mb Graphics - 160gb HD Running DirectX9.0c Windows XP Pro Nortons 2004 10mb cable broadband EQ2 runs extremely well for 95% of the time, with the graphics options turned up to high quality There is very little lag in most areas and the graphics look great. BUT.......... Every so often the game will freeze completely, the harddrive can be heard running like crazy. The game will freeze for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. 90% of the time it will then continue, but sometimes it will crash to character select. When it restarts about 50% of the time it will run completley fine again, but the other half of the time it will lag a lot, and the harddrive will be constantly accessed, requiring a complete system restart. The harddrive has very little else on it, expect windows and eq2 I have ensured that the drive is defragged, that there are no viruses or spyware and i turn off nortons before playing any ideas anyone?
