Character Name Clearing - October 24, 2017

    As we prepare for EverQuest II: Planes of Power, we're freeing up some old character names!

    On October 24, 2017, characters that haven't logged in to EQ2 within the last 5 years will have a letter added to the end of their name. Any characters that have their name altered during this time will be granted one use of the slash command ‘/rename’ following the changes.

    If you have an old character and want to hold on to their name, be sure to log in by October 23, 2017!

    Update: The name clearing has been pushed back to October 24. If you want to keep an old character name, you now have until October 23, 2017 to log on!
