An error occurred communicating with the system. 1004 Error Code: 1004

    Signed up for the free 14 day trial, downloaded launcher, ran launcher, appeared to be downloading, reached 34% and gave error message:

    An error occurred communicating with the system. 1004
    Error Code: 1004

    Reinstalled launcher, tried again, only got to 1% and received the same error message. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    it sounds like you need to open a port up or change the firewall settings to allow the launcher to download what it needs :)

    It must have been the firewall, but now that I've made the necessary adjustments it got to 94% and gave me the same error, but this time the code number was 1002! Arg!
