Coming back after a long time on EQ2. I'm sure much has changed, do you recommend I start out on a progression server or just take the deep plunge into cold water?
get in a guild start with helping everybody in that guild fora few weeks /ask for help with ROS progression > EOK > TBM >then work your way back to the beginning doing ALL progressions stuff. /ask for help doing GEAR >AUGS >SPELLS
At low levels focus on +mana items. Get as big a pool as you can, and just wait the 4 min for out of combat regeneration to top you off. Remember you have to be sitting for it to work. At least 70+ items with regen will come to you naturally, like defiant gear.
Progression Servers will give you more of the classic feel. Normal servers you will notice a lot of new stuff has been added.
