I play through steam. Once I log in the launcher checks files, but when the download starts it just stays at 0kb downloaded and then the launcher appears to close itself after 30 seconds or so. It doesn't fully shut down though and says it is still "running" on steam. I have to manually end the task in task manager to restart. I am on my 4th reinstall. I tried through steam. I tried the regular way. Nothing is working. The game refuses to patch no matter what I do. I am about to give up and ask for a refund for my sub.
Bump. 5th reinstall. Followed these guidelines https://help.daybreakgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/217509478-Launchpad-is-stuck-or-won-t-download Still refuses to patch and crashes after 30 seconds. I am not the only person with this issue.
