Hardcore Heritage events return in 2015! Hardcore Heritage is the time of year where you can revisit popular zones from classic EverQuest, and overcome challenges found there that are relevant to high level characters in order to earn powerful loot!

At least the Naggy raid is available for a month instead of 2 weeks like everything else. Dunno why they couldn't just make them a cumulative effect so that CT & BB go live, but then would persist until the most recent HH zone ends (in this case Sol B & MM).

And still crossing my fingers that we'll get a surprise announcement about a new HH zone once this other 'stuff' is done...
  7. Potawatomi Augur

no but i wanted to be
  8. Silv Augur

Eh, Sol B HH still yields the highest overhaste items in game so even if we don't get something new, it's still extremely valuable. Likewise for the aug from the Naggy raid, it is one of *two* augs that have 50 AC that are shield-slot usable currently in game (and it is a bazillion times easier to get than the PoWar aug).

So, as much as I'd like to be really annoyed there is no mention of a new HH zone, at least now I know when I can get some of the (still) top items in game.

The only thing that really bothers me is that they couldn't be bothered to post about it until after it went live. And I'm fairly certain it was completely due to TLP garbage which is an unacceptable excuse.

this is great, thanks Roshen. Now to try to plan out some play time in these zones. Guk here I come :)

I guess most people who replied did not notice all of these are 1-2 months before they were last year. Maybe they pushed them up for something else in august ?

Stone Cold Summer probably after these end :p. Then possibly Pre-Launch events, they can really push it out an extra like 2 months past these ending.
  12. Silv Augur

Or... similar to the release dates for the events in the years before that. So... yes, get out those tinfoil hats!
  13. Phrovo1 Augur

Maybe the HH zones will be part of the new campaign! Maybe Daybreak will charge extra for them only to remove them 2 weeks later! <3

I really wish there had been an advance notice for when they went live on test! Logged in on the last day of Nagafen and mistmoore. No notice and opposite to live really not fair at all.

Without being a party pooper for you high-level folks, it would be really nice if you could zone into both the 'hardcore' and the 'regular' versions of the zones. EQ has a lot of returning players right now, including myself, and a lot of those players are looking for those old zones as they remember them to level newly created characters.

Worse, there are active quests that send lower level players to those zones -- Castlen's 'Investigating Blackburrow', and most of the Faydwer-area newbie armor quests lead to Crushbone.

Surely, this can be done if the Ogguk stone in the POK can lead to both 'Feerott, the Dream' and 'Feerott'.

I say make them all live from mid May to the end of August. Help boost our lower summer numbers.

  17. RangerDave Lorekeeper

Aye, this would be ideal. Then they could leave the HH stuff live for longer periods of time (e.g., all summer, per Corwynn's suggestion above).

I still like the 70'ish-level mistmoore revamp from about 6-7 years ago better than all these other MM revamps.

    Th
This Game as over 500 zones lol I'm sure that you can find another to be in for the same or better result and definetly worse result ;P

Roshen posted on the 14th with BB and Cazic up for 2 week untill the 27th when Lower Guk and unrest to open and july 10 for Crushbone and Permaforst. Nag and Mistmore open on june 24 leaving 5 weeks to prep on live with them up for a month. Test server is what it is but 5 weeks is plenty of time to plan your next move i'm hoping?
