Chat channel disconnects on AFK

I recently put in a new network interface card and since then, whenever I go afk, I lose connection to the Universal Chat service. Once I zone, if I don't usually quickly do a /list, the connection gets dropped again.

Any ideas on what I need to change with the network interface to stop this?

I have this issue when logged onto EQ from work. I researched it a while back, and for me I believe it is a firewall setting. My understanding is a player's connection to universal chat is achieved through a randomly selected UDP port each time you enter the game or zone. If your security is set up to Time Out UDP connections after a certain time period of inactivity (possibly 1-2 minutes) you need to interact with uchat at least that often, or you lose it. A hotkey with /list repeating with long /pauses in between keeps you connected if you just want to chat for a few minutes. I did find this solution someone posted, obviously not something I can apply to my work network security, ymmv.
