Test Update 08/07/2018 - New Bugs Only

Not sure why no one else has posted about it yet... There are crashes going on for everyone on test. It's most prominent when boxing, but I've also experienced the client just randomly closing when casting an illusion as well.

1st example:

• Have two or more clients running and both characters grouped in the same zone.
• Attack an NPC and notice that all clients that were launched after the first automatically close out.

2nd example:

• Cast one of the AA illusions on a mage or beastlord (I used water elemental, as an example) and the client instantly closed out. 1.) On the beastlord I saw the werewolf change take place and then the client closed. 2.) On the mage, the client shut down immediately upon clicking the button on my hotbar for the water elemental AA.

I'm sure there are plenty of other examples, just figured someone should report it.

Just had repeated crashes straight to desktop almost immediately after engaging a mob.

Same issue here, as soon as I engage a mob the game closes on both my accounts

Crashing appears random. Wizard in my group has not engaged a mob at all and has crashed numerous times. I had no troubles for a while, then suddenly crashed to desktop. I've rebooted my computer, and validated files. I use the patcher, so it isn't caused from bypassing the patcher (at least not in my case). Both times I've crashed to desktop has been when pulling a single mob. However, when I pulled multiple mobs (10+), I did not crash.

Further information: I am not boxing. I only have one account logged in. The second time I crashed to desktop was after rebooting and validating files.

I was boxing 3 accounts in Valley of Lunanyn. If I engaged a mob, my windows would poof instantly. Even the toon who was not fighting, but was grouped, disappeared. She also crashed just sitting outside the group during another fight. A 4th toon sitting in PoK was unaffected.I also validated files before the last crash.

Can you tell me which zone you tested in, the name and level of your characters, what mob was pulled, as well as how many clients were used. Were there any errors in your UIError file? Can you please pm me an eqlog file of a client that crashed? Looking into this issue, thank you for notifying us.

Thanks for the report, this should be fixed for the live patch.

My UIError file is empty after the crashes. I've tried in multiple zones with multiple mobs, and again just now in Fortress Mechanotous. I've been boxing a Monk/Sham and while I buff up i'm fine, and pulling is fine, but once the mob engages the group both clients just close. No error message, no pop-up of any kind, just closed.

Draxton 110 bard and Draxalt 110 shadow knight both on one computer running 2 seperate EQ launchers.
Draxnuke 104 wizard running on a seperate computer.

Draxalt would aggro Corupted Grove Guardian in Frontier Mountains. Draxnuke would immediately crash to desktop with no actions. Draxton the bard would crash immediately or within a few seconds. Draxalt the first time stayed online and running normally and then eventually crashed.

I was able to recreate this multiple times.

Draxnuke UIError file is blank.

Draxalt UIError file says the same as Draxton but with a different timestamp.

Monki 105 monk, I keep getting kicked to Desktop every time I engage a mob. I have no issues zoning etc, only engaging mobs, been trying in FM, Valley, BI even in Arena hitting test dummy will boot me.

both toons are level 105 Numile, Lambente and it happens everytime I attack a mob both games crash..

Entire game crashed 4 times today straight to desktop after engaging a MOB on Test Server - in Loping Plains zone

Was fighting a mob in Frontier Mountains to test crashing. Gotwarx 110 Warrior. Pulled a grove guardian.

I did not crash until I loaded a second client in the middle of the fight. It was loaded to the login screen and had not yet reached server select. Only the first client crashed.

Loaded again, single client. Pulled the same mob, same character, same zone. Did not load a second client. Crashed shortly after tabbing away from the client to load the character's logfile into gamparse.

During all three crashes, in addition to the referenced test client(s), I was also running a single Live client (from a different directory).

This may help, dbg.txt, and the character's log file for all three crashes.

I lost the third crash output because I started a new client before loading the text file. I'm currently trying to crash the client again. Will post that crash log when I can.
Edit: And here's the fourth crash. This one occurred after loading a second client, zoning to FM, and finding my Warrior. The second client poofed as soon as I engaged an NPC.

I got the same error. They did try changing banestrike to not have any particle effects right? Maybe related to that. The DDS file opens in visual studio and looks ok just FYI.
