ASSASSIN TIME CAPSULE The Assassin Time Capsule features shadowy styles and rewards from across the DC Universe. Each Assassin Time Capsule contains one sub-capsule (more on that below) and random items from a general list of rewards, including Quarks (Rewards from Time & Space vendor currency), Soder Cola Ultimates, R&D Exobytes, complex materials, collections, and the ultra-rare Luminous Gaze style item. Assassin Gear Capsule Inspired by the legendary assassin, Black Manta, the Abyssal gear set is everything you need to conduct your lethal business above or beneath the sea. Each gear piece has a chance to drop in each Assasin Gear sub-capsule and, when consumed, will become level-appropriate to your character. If you want to trade them, make sure you do so BEFORE you attune them! Once you have obtained a full set of Abyssal gear, the Enhanced version will be available for Quarks on the Rewards from Time & Space vendor directly. That's right - no more recipes or motes needed for this set of Enhanced styles. Assassin Collector's Capsule In the Assassin Collector's Capsule, assassins from across the DC Universe have, shall we say, contributed. The Court of Owls was convinced to donate one of their iconic masks, Ra's Al Ghul himself sent in a replica of his infamous Jackal helmet, and an unknown assassin offered up a very special cloak - the Cloak of Shadows, aptly named. Assassin Artificer's Capsule All new in this Time Capsule is a new kind of sub-capsule, the Artificer's capsule. Each Artificer's capsule you open will grant several powerful Sin Stones, which can be fortified into Artifacts (just like Nth Metal) to rank the Artifacts up. But here's the important part: the FIRST time you open an Artificer's capsule, you will gain the attention of a the Demon's Head himself, Ra's Al Ghul. You will want to check your mail right away for an urgent communication from Ra's. Attached, you will receive a special style item, Eyes of the Dusk. It looks incredible, causing lethal energy to flow from your eyes. That's not all, of course. When you equip this style item, you will gain a chance to see and thus find special collection items when defeating enemies anywhere in the game. These items can usually only be seen by the most elite assassins, and thanks to your acquiring the Eyes of the Dusk, that now means you, too. These new items can be used to complete three new collections, and the rewards for doing so are new artifacts. These new artifacts rank up just like existing artifacts, increasing your stats as they become stronger, and they have new passive abilities: Venom Wrist Dispenser Venom Surge: Using a Weapon Buff (ability) increases your precision by 35% (at Rank 80) and reduces your base Power regeneration by 10% for 6 seconds. The Demon's Fang Demon's Bite: Every 12 seconds, hitting an enemy with a weapon attack empowers your weapon. While empowered, your next 6 weapon attacks deal additional damage to your primary target equal to 5% (at Rank 80) of your Restoration, and restore Power equal to 1.4% (at Rank 80) of your Restoration. Lazarus Water Revive: You can instantly Revive yourself any time you are able to be Rallied. You must wait 12 hours (at Rank 80) before using this ability again. Plus, as a special bonus, you will receive extra Artifact XP when using Sin Stones to fortify these specific artifacts from the Eyes of the Dusk collections. This all seems pretty cool. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but I think you're well aware we were all hoping for a Superman 80th TC... feeling a bit let down devs!
Gotta say, I kinda like it. Its a middle ground. MMOs have to have a bit of RnG to it, DLCs/Episodes dont get to have the requisite 4-5yrs of development that normal games do, but allowing the collections to drop from any add while wearing the eye style was a really really good step. Means ppl can continue to lvl or make their way through Episodes without having to do Alert X to get key X.
Although i do agree as id love a Superman style, we'll know more on Friday. And on Friday we'll only know 1/3 of whats coming as theres 3 parts through May - June. Mepps said earlier they've got big classic iconic content planned so it sounds good.
Fair point Telos. As this news is fresh, like others I'm just a bit impatient... perhaps Mepps can help put our minds at ease. Mepps - When the Water power was released we had 6 weeks of gifts including the Aquaman emblem. Will a Superman emblem be on the way at some point?
This part I do not like or agree with, I enjoyed enhancing certain pieces from previous TC styles for my alts , I do not want to get full set of the gear for all my alts. Not sure who suggested this but it's a bad idea. I will not be doing that for this TC at all and 899 Quarks the RNG just keeps getting worse and worse.
So did you just give up on actually balancing weapons and threw a buff artifact into an RNG box?!?!?!?! Honestly, that's just... wrong.
Lol yea I was literally just thinking that. And I'm sorry devs but where do the numbers come from? I'm curious have these artifacts been tested to see what sort of impact they might have? Would have been nice if the community was given a chance to test them for balance.. Because in those numbers it could just create an imbalance. Chucking these in a capsule untested!! I'm sorry but that's just wrong and poor form imo
Why do you guys hate us mepps the tc get worse and worse its the big mans 80th and an assassin capsule is what we get im not asking for massive changes to this game as i know it wont happen all i and many many many others want is a superman emblem give us some ray of hope tell me i didnt invest 6 plus years in this game only to be ignored by the devs
its making sense now . 1 nerf players 2 sell gear and stats back to players ,wait the content is not selling 3 makes artifacts more stats back to players 4 .place stats behind rng boxes I remind players content the powers not yet balanced

This was not a good idea at all. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am sure you can tell I am not happy at all, BTW I have 8 alts that I enjoy dressing up but this just Naw just Naw..lol my alts will not be getting any new TC gear or even my Main !!!
I wouldn't care but they gave us statues and emblems for Aquaman when water came out and now on Superman's 80th anniversary we can't even get an emblem.
