I have been crunching the numbers, posting on the forums, parsing digits on dummies... It is abundantly clear that we need to nerf Water Powers.
Seriously, Water is clearly OP. I swear I'm top name on scoreboard but I can FEEL a water users name above mine somewhere. completely unfair. I use Sorcery, Water has less letters in its name so devs clearly are playing favorites cuz its an easier word to ssay. Nerf the power and make us equal.
I tried to do damage on the dummies but the water just went through them and around and did nothing. I think it's only good when run with electricity.
Bah! Forget your fancy-pants test and technobabble! I have a much more reliable way to find out if Water is going to be OP. ... Ok. Mr Owl was busy. So I used the next best thing:
Buff Water powers. No seriously. It turns out that throwing water at enemies does little more than make them wet for a time.
OMG. I just lost a PvP duel to a water user. what the hell devs. clearly fire would over power water. what planet are you on where water kills a CR 200 Fire? geezus, fix your game. Fire kills Water. it's natures law bro.
Who is up for making a thread after 30 mins water has been released asking "whens next power its been like 30 mins since we got previous power." Im too lazy.
I forgot to mention that the scorecard showed me doing 400k less damage on one of my alts that I barely relearned yet
Considering Nature and Celestial healing still have higher healing cost than the other healing powers, and then water being the even cheaper than electric, yea nerf water
Nerf the blueness of water. Everyone knows water is transparent. If it wasn't so blue it would be balanced with everything else.
Considering past results, this probably will end up accurate. New powers are almost always OP for the first month or so. Balance is nice. Selling Power Respec Tokens is great.
