    Can anyone please tell me if any of these zone experience modifiers are still active? I would love to take some alts or AA with my main (61) for extra exp! Thanks all :)

    That list is an extremely old list of ZEMs, dating from 2002 or earlier. Ignore it.

    There is a general principle that dungeons may give better exp than open zones, but after Luclin that was pretty much ignored. Paying attention to ZEM is also flawed, when you consider that the only thing that matters is exp/time; the exp gained from a single kill is not at all important, and exp over time depends on many other factors.

    I was done by packet sniffing, way back when the ZEM was included in the IP traffic from EQ. Not possible now, fortunately - because it confuses people, as above. Exp given is based around level and ZEM (and other modifiers), but if all mobs in one zone have half the HP of the same level mobs in another zone with the same ZEM - that's going to be more important.

    Yup there is so much more involved than simply exp per mob. You should always look at exp over time, minimum thirty minutes but realistically an hour or two to really get a good idea.

    The ZEMs are the same now as they were then (I have not seen anyplace that says they were ever changed), with the exception of whichever zones are the Hot Zones at that time (they have a ZEM that is at least equal to Padual Caverns). However as Borek and Raptor mentioned, there are a number of other things that go into how much xp you get, as well as how much xp you net over time.
