Hello, I am back in EQ and started over on Phinigel a little Human Shadow Knight. While talking with my guild master, i got a class quest that asked me to kill a girl and give her head to someone named Quan Nektogo. I have looked for him with the magical find command but i can't find him at the destination. I have looked on allakhazam information and the location given didn't help me at all. I did petition but the GM told me that he is not stuck and i only have to find him and maybe that i should open a bug ticket... after playing hide and seek for an hour, i have gave up. Well, i would like to finish my quest to get that lowbie magic weapon so if anyone on Phinigel could tell me where is hiding that npc, i would be happy... Reii
Quan is part of the Luclin newbie amor quests. Not available until, umm, Luclin. If the GM offers that quest, it's a mistake. Or a little ahead of itself .
Thank you Borek. That's a really good explanation and it's sad that all step are in phinigel except the last npc...
They did this with all of the quests that are out of era, at least all of the newbie armor quests. While you can collect the drops, the key NPC's are all AWOL. Easier to remove the NPC then to try and rewrite/remove the drops/quest lines.
